Velociraptor

A feathered pack hunter the size of a turkey, not a movie monster/Dinosaurs & Extinct Animals

Forget the Jurassic Park version. The real Velociraptor was about the size of a large turkey, covered in feathers, and had a devastating sickle-shaped claw on each foot. Fossils found in Mongolia show it was an agile predator of the Late Cretaceous, and one famous fossil preserves it locked in combat with a Protoceratops.
