Naan Bread

The leavened flatbread baked in a tandoor oven/World Cuisines

Naan is a soft, pillowy flatbread staple across South and Central Asia. It is traditionally slapped onto the inside wall of a clay tandoor oven heated to around 480 degrees Celsius. The dough is leavened with yeast or yogurt, giving it its characteristic bubbled surface.
