Microraptor

A four-winged feathered dinosaur the size of a crow/Dinosaurs & Extinct Animals

Microraptor was a small, four-winged dromaeosaurid dinosaur that lived about 120 million years ago in what is now China. At just 77 cm long and weighing about 1 kg, it is one of the smallest known dinosaurs. Its long feathers on both arms and legs formed four wing-like surfaces, and studies suggest it could glide from tree to tree. Fossils even preserve the iridescent black sheen of its feathers, making it the first dinosaur whose color was scientifically determined.
