Carnotaurus

A horned predator with comically tiny arms/Dinosaurs & Extinct Animals

Carnotaurus sastrei lived about 72 to 69 million years ago in Late Cretaceous Argentina. It was a large abelisaurid theropod about 8 meters long and 1,500 kg, distinguished by two thick horns above its eyes and arms even more vestigial than those of T. rex. Its forearms were so small they could not flex at the elbow. Carnotaurus had an unusually flexible skull that may have allowed it to strike prey with rapid biting motions, and skin impressions show it was covered in non-overlapping scales.
