Voyager Golden Record

Humanity's mixtape for the cosmos/Engineering Marvels

The Voyager Golden Records are phonograph records that were included aboard both Voyager spacecraft in 1977. Each 12-inch gold-plated copper disc contains sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life on Earth, including greetings in 55 languages, music from Bach to Chuck Berry, and the brainwaves of a woman in love. They will remain playable for at least a billion years.
