The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is a multi-mission tiltrotor that can rotate its engine nacelles 90 degrees to transition between helicopter and airplane flight modes. It combines the vertical takeoff capability of a helicopter with the speed and range of a turboprop. The Osprey has served with the US Marines and Air Force since 2007.
