The Moon

Earth's only natural satellite/Moons

The Moon is Earth's sole natural satellite and the fifth-largest moon in the solar system. It is the brightest and largest object in our night sky, and its gravitational pull drives Earth's tides. Twelve humans have walked on its surface during NASA's Apollo programme between 1969 and 1972.
