Standard Playing Card

The poker-size card used in everything from solitaire to magic tricks/Toys & Games

A standard poker-size playing card measures 8.89 centimeters long by 6.35 centimeters wide, with a thickness of about 0.3 millimeters and a mass of approximately 1.8 grams. A full deck of 52 cards (plus jokers) weighs about 94 grams. The modern design with two-headed court cards dates to the mid-19th century, allowing players to read their hand without flipping cards upside down. A single card has an area of 56.5 square centimeters, which is just enough real estate to hide an ace up your sleeve but not enough to hide your poker face.
