Slow Loris

One of the few venomous mammals, with enormous nocturnal eyes/Small Animals

Slow lorises are a group of nocturnal primates found in Southeast Asia, remarkable for being among the very few venomous mammals. They produce a toxin from a gland on their inner elbow, which they mix with saliva to create a venomous bite used for defense. Their enormous forward-facing eyes are adapted for night vision and give them excellent depth perception. Slow lorises have an unusually strong grip, capable of hanging from branches for hours, and a specialized vascular network in their hands called a rete mirabile that prevents muscle fatigue.
