Seahorse

Nature's proof that dads can handle pregnancy/Marine Life

Seahorses (Hippocampus) are unique among fish in that the males carry the fertilized eggs in a brood pouch until they hatch. They are remarkably poor swimmers, relying on a tiny dorsal fin that flutters up to 35 times per second. Their prehensile tail can grip coral and seagrass to keep them from drifting away. They have no stomach, so food passes through their digestive system so quickly that they must eat almost constantly.
