Red-Eyed Tree Frog

The neon-eyed poster child of tropical rainforests/Small Animals

With its vivid crimson eyes and lime-green body, the red-eyed tree frog is the ambassador of Central American rainforests. Those shocking eyes serve a purpose: when startled, it flashes them open to startle predators, a defense called startle coloration. Despite looking exotic, it is completely non-venomous.
