The fastest spacecraft ever launched from Earth/Space Missions

New Horizons was launched in 2006 and performed the first flyby of Pluto in July 2015. It traveled at roughly 16.26 km/s, making it one of the fastest human-made objects. The probe carries seven scientific instruments and a small portion of Clyde Tombaugh's ashes.
