Mayflower

The ship that delivered 102 seasick Pilgrims to the New World/Ships & Boats

The Mayflower carried the Pilgrims from Plymouth, England to Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1620, a 66-day voyage across the Atlantic. The ship was originally a cargo vessel used to transport wine and cloth, which explains why conditions aboard were roughly as comfortable as being stored in a wine barrel. The 102 passengers and about 30 crew members shared a space smaller than a modern tennis court.
