Mars Rover Perseverance

A nuclear-powered geology lab on wheels/Spacecraft

NASA's Perseverance rover landed on Mars on February 18, 2021, in Jezero Crater. It weighs 1,025 kg and is powered by a plutonium-238 radioisotope thermoelectric generator that will keep it running for at least 14 years. It carries 23 cameras, two microphones (recording sound on Mars for the first time), and the Ingenuity helicopter. It is also collecting rock samples for a future return mission to Earth.
