Hot Wheels Car

The 1:64 scale die-cast car that has outsold real cars/Toys & Games

A standard Hot Wheels car is built at 1:64 scale, measuring about 7.6 centimeters long and weighing roughly 30 grams. Since their introduction by Mattel in 1968, over 6 billion Hot Wheels cars have been produced -- enough for nearly every person on Earth. If placed bumper to bumper, those 6 billion cars would stretch over 456,000 kilometers, enough to circle the Earth more than 11 times. They come with low-friction axles and wheels, which is why a Hot Wheels car rolling off a table achieves a surprisingly impressive speed relative to its size.
