Fennec Fox

The Sahara's smallest fox with the largest ears-to-body ratio/Small Animals

The fennec fox (Vulpes zerda) is the smallest canid in the world, but its ears — up to 15 centimeters long — are the largest relative to body size of any fox. Those comically oversized ears serve as radiators, dissipating heat in the Saharan desert where temperatures regularly exceed 50°C. They can hear prey moving underground and dig with astonishing speed to catch it.
