The Tesla 4680 battery cell is 46 mm in diameter and 80 mm tall, storing about 98 Wh of energy. It uses a tabless electrode design that reduces internal resistance and improves thermal performance. A single Tesla Model Y pack contains about 830 of these cells. The '4680' name simply describes the dimensions: 46 mm diameter, 80 mm height. Each cell can deliver over 200 amps.
