NASA's car-sized nuclear-powered Mars laboratory/Space Missions

Curiosity is a car-sized rover that landed in Gale Crater on Mars in August 2012. It carries a suite of scientific instruments powered by a radioisotope thermoelectric generator. The rover has traveled over 30 km across the Martian surface studying geology and climate.
