Corgi

The low-rider herding dog favored by royalty/Small Animals

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was bred to herd cattle by nipping at their heels, low enough to dodge retaliatory kicks. Despite those comically short legs, corgis are athletic, surprisingly fast, and powered by an apparently infinite energy source. Queen Elizabeth II owned more than 30 during her reign.
