Concert Tuba (CC)

The largest brass instrument in the orchestra/Musical Instruments

A CC concert tuba has about 5.5 meters of coiled brass tubing and a bell that can be over 45 cm in diameter. It is the lowest-pitched standard orchestral brass instrument, able to produce notes below the range of human speech. Despite weighing up to 14 kg, tuba players in marching bands carry them while walking for hours.
