The capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) is the world's largest living rodent, native to South America. They are semi-aquatic and can hold their breath for up to five minutes. Capybaras are famously relaxed and social, often seen with birds perched on their backs. They are basically oversized guinea pigs that have achieved a level of zen that most humans can only dream of.
