Bronze Age Sword

One of humanity's earliest purpose-built weapons/Historical Weapons

Bronze swords emerged around 1700 BCE and were cast from an alloy of copper and tin. They ranged from short stabbing swords to longer slashing types. Bronze is softer than iron, so blades were typically leaf-shaped to distribute stress evenly and resist bending.
