Blue-Ringed Octopus

A golf-ball-sized octopus with enough venom to kill 26 adults/Marine Life

The blue-ringed octopus (Hapalochlaena) is one of the most venomous marine animals in the world, carrying tetrodotoxin — a neurotoxin 1,200 times more potent than cyanide. Despite being small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, a single bite contains enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes. Its iridescent blue rings flash as a warning display. There is no known antivenom.
