The Elizabeth Tower at the Palace of Westminster stands 96 meters tall and houses the famous Great Bell, nicknamed Big Ben. The clock faces are 7 meters in diameter, and the minute hands are 4.3 meters long. The tower leans about 0.26 degrees to the northwest. Big Ben the bell weighs 13.76 tonnes and has been ringing on the hour since 1859, except during maintenance periods.
