The slightly bigger half of our nearest stellar neighbor/Stars
Alpha Centauri A is the dominant star in the Alpha Centauri system, our closest stellar neighbor at roughly 4.37 light-years away. It is about 10% more massive and 50% more luminous than the Sun, making it a reassuringly sun-like star. If you could somehow drive there at highway speed, you would arrive in about 50 million years, so maybe pack a lunch.
